Job Description

As a member of the interdisciplinary team and under the general direction of the Manager, the primary goal will be to restore, maintain, and enhance recovery of people seeking help for addiction and/or addiction issues by implementing various modalities of addiction recovery programs.

Responsibilities

include providing informational programming as well as individual and group counselling sessions with clients. This position will be expected to assess individual and group needs of clients and implement plans to help clients reach their goals.

  • Knowledge and Abilities
  • Ability to accurately assess addiction(s) and make appropriate recovery plans.

Requirements

Applicants must hold a Mental Health & Addictions Counselling Diploma or a related Health Sciences degree. Candidates are also required to provide a valid Criminal Record Check including a vulnerable sector search.
