Under the direction of the Program Coordinator or delegate, provides nursing care for children and youth with behavioural, emotional and psychiatric disturbances. Within the context of a multi-disciplinary team and in a residential setting, provides care and treatment to children and youth, including assessment, intervention, and evaluation.
Registration with the BC College of Nurses and Midwives as a practicing registered nurse or registered psychiatric nurse.
Minimum two years of recent related experience.
One year of paediatric experience.
One year of psychiatric experience.
Effective verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to work independently and organize workload.
Ability to work effectively with others in a multidisciplinary team.
Physical capability to perform the duties and respond to code white level 3 advanced team responses
