About the role

The Program Assistant contributes to the organization and optimal function of the Crisis Critical Care Treatment Unit under the direction of clinical staff. They are responsible for working with diverse clients and promoting the maintenance of a therapeutic milieu.

The Acute Care Program is currently seeking a part-time, temporary (until November 2026) Program Assistant to work on the Crisis Critical Care Treatment Unit 6.

As a member of the inter-professional team, the Program Assistant is responsible for working with clients from diverse backgrounds.

Reporting to the Manager, the successful candidate will contribute to the organization and optimal function of the unit under the direction of the clinical staff and promote maintenance of the therapeutic milieu.

Requirements

Candidates must have a secondary school diploma or equivalent and are preferred to have one year of experience in a healthcare-related field. A Personal Care Worker Certificate or enrollment in a healthcare discipline program is required, while CPR certification is considered an asset.
