Résumé du poste: Relevant du directeur de la réadaptation, le ou la préposé(e) en réadaptation (physiothérapie et ergothérapie) soutient les services cliniques en assurant la disponibilité, la propreté, la sécurité et la gestion efficace du matériel et des équipements thérapeutiques. Il ou elle contribue au bon fonctionnement des activités de réadaptation par la gestion des inventaires, le prêt et le suivi des équipements, l'application des normes de prévention et contrôle des infections, ainsi que le soutien logistique aux équipes cliniques. Sous supervision, la personne peut également participer à certaines activités de soutien thérapeutique et aux transferts sécuritaires des patients.

Principales responsabilités : Assurer la préparation, l'organisation et le bon fonctionnement des salles de physiothérapie et d'ergothérapie. Désinfecter et entretenir les équipements thérapeutiques, le matériel et les espaces de traitement selon les normes de prévention des infections. Effectuer les inventaires, assurer le suivi des stocks et coordonner les commandes de matériel. Préparer, distribuer, récupérer, désinfecter et assurer la traçabilité des équipements prêtés aux patients et à leurs familles. Ajuster certaines aides à la mobilité selon les directives cliniques reçues. Collaborer étroitement avec les physiothérapeutes, ergothérapeutes et autres membres de l'équipe interdisciplinaire. Veiller au respect des procédures de sécurité, de qualité et des politiques organisationnelles. Accomplir toute autre tâche connexe afin de soutenir les opérations du service de réadaptation.

Qualifications requises : Diplôme d'études secondaires (DES) ou combinaison équivalente de formation et d'expérience. Expérience pertinente dans un milieu hospitalier, clinique ou de réadaptation, un atout. Connaissance des principes de prévention et contrôle des infections (PCI), un atout. Capacité à effectuer de la manutention sécuritaire de matériel et d'équipements. Bon sens de l'organisation et aptitude à gérer plusieurs priorités. Excellentes habiletés relationnelles et esprit de collaboration. Capacité à communiquer en français et en anglais, tant à l'oral qu'à l'écrit. Sens des responsabilités, autonomie et souci du service à la clientèle. ---

Summary : Reporting to the Director of Rehabilitation, the Rehabilitation Attendant (Physiotherapy and Occupational Therapy) supports the delivery of rehabilitation services by ensuring the availability, cleanliness, safety, and efficient management of therapeutic equipment and supplies. The incumbent contributes to the effective operation of rehabilitation activities through inventory management, equipment lending and tracking, infection prevention and control practices, and logistical support for clinical teams. Under supervision, the attendant may also assist with safe patient transfers and selected therapeutic support activities.

Responsibilities : Prepare, organize, and maintain physiotherapy and occupational therapy treatment areas. Clean, disinfect, and maintain therapeutic equipment, materials, and treatment spaces in accordance with infection prevention standards. Conduct inventory counts, monitor stock levels, and coordinate supply orders. Prepare, distribute, recover, disinfect, and track equipment loaned to patients and families. Adjust mobility aids such as crutches, walkers, and canes according to clinical instructions. Work closely with physiotherapists, occupational therapists, and other interdisciplinary team members. Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and organizational policies and procedures. Perform other related duties to support rehabilitation department operations.

Required

Qualifications : High school diploma or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Relevant experience in a hospital, rehabilitation, or healthcare setting is considered an asset. Knowledge of Infection Prevention and Control (IPAC) practices is an asset. Ability to safely handle and transport equipment and materials. Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities. Excellent interpersonal and teamwork skills. Ability to communicate effectively in both English and French, verbally and in writing. Strong sense of responsibility, initiative, and customer service orientation.
