Maritime Veterinary Emergency + Specialty Centre (MVESC) is hiring a full-time Kennel Attendant to join our Emergency & Specialty animal hospital in Dartmouth, Nova Scotia. This role is ideal for someone passionate about animal care who enjoys staying organized, supporting veterinary teams, and helping create a clean and safe environment for patients.

As a Kennel Attendant at MVESC, you’ll play an important role in supporting daily hospital operations while working alongside a collaborative team dedicated to exceptional patient care.

Responsibilities

Maintain cleanliness and organization throughout the hospital, including kennels, treatment areas, laundry, dishes, and common spaces Restock hospital supplies and ensure work areas remain organized Support veterinarians and veterinary technicians with patient care needs Observe animal behavior and wellbeing, reporting concerns promptly to the medical team Assist with safe animal restraint when needed Complete additional hospital support duties as assigned

Qualifications
