The Registered Veterinary Technician will provide exceptional medical care to shelter animals, monitor their physical and behavioral health, and assist with surgical procedures. They will also support the team by training staff on wellness protocols and managing administrative tasks such as client appointments.

The Ontario SPCA operates two spay/neuter clinics, a wellness clinic, SPCA Mobile Animal Wellness Services unit, and hosts MASH-style clinics to bring routine care and spay/neuter services to underserved communities. We also find loving homes for thousands of animals each year at our animal centres across the province – animals who depend on the compassion of a veterinary care team to bring them back to health so they can get their second chance. This position, both challenging and rewarding, is suitable for those who love to work in a fast-paced and structured environment.
Pay rate is dependent on experience.
