Market context

General surgery leadership roles remain selective

In Alberta, administration-focused physician roles are typically competitive because employers look for leaders who can balance clinical oversight, team coordination, and operational reliability. For this General Surgery role, the combination of MD or DO training, ACGME-accredited residency, board certification or eligibility, and active Massachusetts licensure with DEA registration signals a narrow candidate pool. Review the AI-summarized requirements and benefits here to save time, then confirm licensure and certification details before applying.
