In this role, you will lead comprehensive patient assessments, coordinate care plans, administer complex therapies, and facilitate safe transitions through discharge. Perfect for nurses who thrive in dynamic acute care environments and value schedule versatility.
Perform ongoing patient assessments, monitor vital signs, interpret lab values, and evaluate patient responses to medical treatments.
Safely administer medications, injections, and therapies; maintain IV access, perform complex wound care, dressing changes, and specimen collections.
Partner with physicians, case managers, and therapy staff to adjust care plans, conduct interdisciplinary rounds, and prepare patients and families for post-discharge care.
Maintain accurate, timely, and compliant electronic health record (EHR) entries for all assessments, interventions, and care responses.
Escalating clinical changes to medical providers promptly to ensure safety and clinical quality.
Requirements: & Qualifications
Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) or Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) from an accredited program.
Active and unencumbered Nebraska RN license or a valid Multistate/Compact RN license.
Current Basic Life Support (BLS) required. (ACLS or PALS preferred depending on unit assignment).
Minimum 1–2 years of recent acute care inpatient Med-Surg experience.
Proficiency in acute care standards and EHR systems.
Demonstrated ability to manage multi-patient assignments with changing priorities.
Strong critical thinking, rapid decision-making, and clear clinical communication.
Must be willing and open to working both Day and Night 12-hour shifts as needed by the facility.
BSN degree.
