You will provide practical, non-clinical psychosocial support to mental health consumers across community, acute and rehabilitation settings, using your lived experience to support recovery and wellbeing. Working under the supervision of a clinician and as part of a multidisciplinary team, you will assist consumers to achieve their goals, build confidence and develop strategies that support their recovery journey.

Lived experience of mental health recovery and personal wellbeing strategies.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with consumers, families and carers.
Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team and manage competing priorities.
Understanding of mental health challenges and commitment to recovery-oriented, non-judgemental support.
Ability to engage with Aboriginal consumers in a culturally appropriate manner and experience using Microsoft Office.
