About the role

Provide intensive therapeutic in-home services to families with children at risk of placement or in need of reunification. Maintain a flexible schedule to conduct sessions in client homes and respond to crisis situations as needed.

The Opportunity

Serve families whose children are at imminent risk of placement or who are in placement and cannot be reunified without intensive therapeutic in-home services

Provide therapeutic services primarily in client homes and other locations typical of a family’s routine.

Schedule sessions at times that are convenient for families and when problems are likely to occur, which may occasionally include evenings, weekends and holidays. Maintain a flexible workweek.

Be available after hours to client families for crisis situations outlined at intake. Advise supervisor or supervisor’s designee if unavailable

What You Will Bring to The Role

  • Graduate degree in counseling, or a closely related field preferred;
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Social Work, Psychology, Counseling or closely related field and at least three years of experience working with children and families, using crisis intervention and counseling required;
  • An equivalent combination of education, training, or experience may be considered

Wage Range

The target hiring range for this position is $43.72 to $56.62 per hour. Candidates will typically be hired, transferred or promoted between the minimum and midpoint of the wage range. Placement within the wage range is dependent on the applicants’ role specific knowledge, skills, abilities, related experience and in consideration of factors such as market conditions and internal equity.
