About the role

The Registered Practical Nurse will provide clinical care within the Medical Withdrawal Services program as part of a 12-week residency. They will collaborate with an interprofessional team to support patient transitions and contribute to the hospital's mission of mental health and addiction recovery.

CAMH’s Nursing Innovation & Transition Program is recruiting newly-graduated Registered Practical Nurses to join our team as part of the Nursing Graduate Guarantee Initiative.

Our team is well-equipped to support your learning and development during your robust 12 weeks residency on one unit with further support in transitioning to nursing roles within CAMH post-residency.

CAMH is more than a hospital, it is a cause. CAMH is on a mission to change the way society thinks about and responds to mental illness. They aim to eliminate prejudice and discrimination and shape a world where mental illness is central to our healthcare system – a world where Mental Health is Health.

Ontario nursing roles need licensed, experienced clinicians

Ontario nursing roles are often driven by ongoing staffing needs across hospitals, long-term care, community care, and emergency settings.
