Northern Health is seeking a Nurse Practitioner to join the Emergency Department and Primary Care team at Fort Nelson General Hospital. This dynamic role involves providing emergency care to patients of all ages in a fast-paced, team-based care environment. In addition, this position offers flexibility and the chance to provide longitudinal primary care to patients of all ages. The NP will attach a patient panel and contribute to a collaborative, culturally safe care environment supported by physicians, other nurse practitioners, primary care assistants, and an interprofessional team. Virtual specialist consultation services and telemedicine technologies are available to support clinical decision-making and enhance access to expertise. The position offers adaptable scheduling options to support service delivery and work-life balance. Advanced certifications required include ACLS, PALS, ATLS, and CASTED. Completion of BCCNM approved Master’s degree level nurse practitioner program.
Eligible for registration as a Nurse Practitioner with British Columbia College of Nurses and Midwives (BCCNM).
