What you will do

Contribute, review and implement person-centered plans designed to support and assist adults, in achieving their personal goals

Collaborate with other staff to facilitate meaningful, high quality community connections, personal development and recreation opportunities.

Encourage and support individual independence, choice, and self-expression in the areas of self care, communication, recreation, socialization and participation.

Act as a role model while encouraging and assisting the individual to participate in the daily activities and responsibilities of their personal life and their home

Establish and maintain rapport with residents and maintain positive relationships with key stakeholders

What you will need to be successful

Post secondary education and/or experience in Human Services and/or disability support with preference given to individuals with a background in Person Centered concepts.

Preference to individuals that have certification in PART, Food Safety, TLR, Medication Administration.

A satisfactory Criminal Record Check including Vulnerable Sector Search

Must have a valid Class 5 Saskatchewan Driver's License and use of a reliable vehicle, including $2 million liability insurance on the vehicle you will bring to work each day.

Comfortable in transporting clients in your personal vehicle

The ability to work 12 hour shifts.

Have open availability for each day of the week to include Saturdays and Sundays Please note: Supports are provided 24 hours a day, 7 days per week. Shift work is required to include both Saturdays and Sundays.
