Administer direct nursing care to patients within the scope of the license (College of Nurses of Ontario). Current Certificate of Competence from the College of Nurses of Ontario.
Successful completion of an approved RPN program.
Completion of Medication Administration for R.P.N.’s, medical asepsis, catheterization and IV training/education, with previous experience using these skills.
Demonstrated satisfactory attendance levels, performance levels, disciplinary history, and positive work references.
Demonstrated knowledge of various computer applications and software related to healthcare programs.
Courses in Behaviour Approach (e.g., P.I.E.C.E.S, GPA or restorative) would be an asset.
Previous experience in Nursing Skills pertinent to Acute Care would be an asset.
Proof of COVID-19 vaccination before commencing employment (exceptions may be made for legislated protected reasons).
