Maintain clean and disinfected conditions in Diagnostic Imaging and Laboratory.

Maintain clean and disinfected conditions in Labour and Delivery Rooms.

Maintain clean and disinfected conditions in washrooms, corridors, hallways, lounges, offices, and common areas.

Follow Northern Health Regional Environmental Services Policies and Processes.

Work under the general supervision of Manager or designate

Position Summary

We are currently looking for a hard working and dedicated Environmental Services Worker to fill a Casual position at the Stewart Health Unit. In accordance with the established mission, vision, values, and strategic priorities of Northern Health, and under the general supervision of Manager or designate, this position performs a variety of environmental services duties throughout the facility. Maintains clean and disinfected conditions in areas such as patient/resident/client rooms, Operating Rooms, Diagnostic Imaging and Laboratory, Labour and Delivery Rooms, washrooms, corridors, hallways, lounges, offices, and common areas used by staff, visitors and patients/residents/clients as established in Northern Health Regional Environmental Services Policies and Processes. Shift Rotation/Hours of work: Monday to Friday, Evenings, 16:00 to 20:00 Qualfications

Grade 10 or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience. Skills and Abilities:

Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing.

Ability to deal with others effectively.

Ability to organize work.

Ability to operate related equipment.
