• Opportunity: Join our Emergency Department team as a Registered Nurse and make a meaningful impact in a fast-paced, collaborative environment serving the South Georgian Bay community. Our ED provides comprehensive triage, trauma, resuscitation, medical, and surgical care for more than 34,000 patients annually. At CGMH, every shift brings something new — from ski hill injuries in January to boating injuries in July — offering endless opportunities to grow your skills and experience the excitement of emergency nursing. • At this time this opportunity is scheduled for 12-hour shifts
• As the successful applicant, you will do the following:
• Deliver comprehensive emergency nursing care through rapid assessment, treatment, patient advocacy, and interdisciplinary collaboration while adhering to the standards of the College of Nurses of Ontario.
• Provide supportive, therapeutic, palliative, and rehabilitative care to diverse patient populations in a fast-paced Emergency Department setting.
• Maintain high standards of professional practice, critical thinking, and compassionate patient-centered care. What You’ll Bring Required
• Registered as an RN with the College of Nurse
• One-year recent experience in acute care nursing
• BLS, ACLS, Physical Assessment course
• Coronary Care I or willingness to obtain within six (6) months Preferred
• Current emergency nursing experience
• Completion of emergency courses or in the process of working towards
