Supporting, participating in and practicing within the mission/philosophy, objectives and policies of the Health Sciences Centre's clinical programs and the individual unit.
Functioning as a scrub or circulating nurse assisting the interventional radiologist in the vascular and neurovascular rooms.
Functioning as an Registered Nurse (RN) monitoring patient hemodynamics and collecting and analyzing data during diagnostic interventional procedures.
Delivering patient care in a manner that reflects professional nursing practice while demonstrating effective communication and teaching skills with patients, family and staff.
Demonstrating interest and participation in professional development activities.
Experience Minimum two years recent experience in Interventional Procedures or Emergency or Critical Care nursing required. Education (Degree/Diploma/Certificate) Graduate of an approved Registered Nursing education program required.Certification/Licensure/Registration
Responsible for maintaining and providing proof of registration with the College of Registered Nurses of Manitoba (CRNM). Active participation in professional associations e.g. Association of Regulated Nurses of Manitoba (ARNM) preferred. Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) training requirements for this position shall be in accordance with the Employer policy.
