The organization also delivers some province-wide health services and supports centralized administrative and business functions for Manitoba health organizations. Pensionable Salary Enhancement - Nurses in eligible classifications may be eligible to earn an additional $5.95/hour when working full-time hours within a prescribed six-month reporting period. (Effective April 1, 2025 – March 31st 2027.) Position Overview Under the general direction of the Manager Health Services, the incumbent functions as a pivotal member of the multidisciplinary team to coordinate and provide clinical management to patients with complex health issues within the defined patient population and acts as a resource person to other healthcare professionals and to the community. The Nurse Clinician utilizes advanced skills and knowledge and performs at a high level of independence as a clinical practitioner, leader, consultant and educator. Practices are in accordance with employer policy and professional standards. The Nurse Clinician supports families in Manitoba, Northwestern Ontario, Nunavut and Saskatchewan as required. Experience Minimum three years recent clinical experience in relevant nursing specialty required. Education (Degree/Diploma/Certificate)

Graduate of an approved Registered Nursing education program required. Bachelor of Nursing Degree preferred. Successful completion of a relevant post-basic program may be required or preferred in a designated area.

Certification/Licensure/Registration

Current registration or eligibility for registration with College of Registered Nurses of Manitoba (CRNM) required. Active participation in professional associations e.g. Association of Regulated Nurses of Manitoba (ARNM) preferred. Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) training requirements for this position shall be in accordance with the Employer policy.

Physical Requirements

Moderate to heavy physical effort required. May be required to work flexible hours. Occasional travel to community agencies, patient homes and/or other healthcare institutions.
