About the role

Provide comprehensive medical transcription support by accurately transcribing medical dictations for radiologists and departments. Manage work demands effectively while maintaining positive communication and peer support within the team.

A leading provider of diagnostic imaging services, Insight Medical Imaging connects in a meaningful way with our patients, physicians, and employees. With over 650 employees and 20 locations, Insight provides services in Edmonton and surrounding regions, as well as in Fort McMurray.

Insight is currently seeking a Transcriptionist to join our dynamic and expanding team. This is a full time, remote position, with a schedule of Monday to Friday, 10:00am to 6:00pm. Applicants must live in Alberta to be considered for this position.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Provide overall medical transcription support to the department, accurately transcribing medical dictations.
  • Organize and prioritize assigned work and schedule time to accommodate work demands.
  • Communicate with radiologists and departments.
  • Provide peer support.
  • Communicate in a positive and cooperative manner.
  • Handle difficult situations in a sensitive and proactive manner.
