Must possess ability to work with minimum supervision, with flexibility and independence in planning work. May be required to provide orientation to cardiology technician/technologists or students. Experience
At least one year’s recent Cardiology Technology experience preferred.
Education (Degree/Diploma/Certificate)
Certification as a Cardiology Technologist required.
Must be certified by, and maintain current registration with, the Canadian Society of Cardiology Technologists (CSCT). Minimum Level A CPR Training required.
Qualifications: and Skills
Must exhibit excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Written and oral command of the English language required.
Ability to work cooperatively, courteously and tactfully with patients, co-workers and other hospital personnel.
Clerical aptitude and ability to effectively maintain records and reports related to position.
Demonstrated knowledge of computers as applied to Cardio Tech required.
Manual dexterity and visual acuity appropriate for the position.
