Emergency Workers will be responsible for providing after-hours emergency services to families.
This role will report to a Child and Family Supervisor.
This position is an on-call, rotational position, and hours are not guaranteed; standby pay is given while on rotation but not actively responding to calls.
The hours will vary depending on the frequency of emergency callouts that the employee receives.
Develop and maintain open, honest working relationships and encourage teamwork with clients, foster families, biological families, collateral agencies, and colleagues within the unit and community.

Candidates must possess a diploma or degree in a human services-related field and have experience working in a human service setting. A valid driver's license is required, along with the physical ability to lift and carry small children up to 20 kg.
