In accordance with the established mission, vision, values, and strategic priorities of Northern Health, and under the general supervision of Manager or designate, the Clinical Dietitian provides nutrition care through nutritional assessment, goal setting, intervention, and counseling of inpatients, outpatients, residents and/or community care clients within professional scope of practice, and established policies, procedures and standards. Collaborates with members of the health care team. Provides orientation, guidance, and collegial information to others including peers, new staff, and students. This position provides coverage to Longterm Care facilities in Prince George. Shift Rotation/Hours of work: Monday to Friday, Days - 08:00 to 16:00 Qualfications
Baccalaureate degree in Nutritional Science with a Major in Food and Nutrition from an accredited University.
Completion of a dietetic internship recognized by Dietitians of Canada and the College of Health and Care Professionals of British Columbia.
Current registration with the College of Health Care Professionals of British Columbia.
Valid BC driver’s license for positions requiring travel. Skills and Abilities:
