The Community Support Worker provides individualized, recovery-oriented support to residents within e4c’s long-term supported housing programs. Working with individuals experiencing mental health, addiction, and trauma-related challenges, the role promotes stability, wellness, and community integration through a relationship-based and trauma-informed approach.
The Community Support Worker collaborates with interdisciplinary teams to support resident goals, maintain a safe and welcoming environment, and contribute to effective program delivery.
Key Responsibilities
Provide relationship-based, trauma-informed support to residents, promoting wellness, recovery, and daily living skills development.
Support residents with life skills learning, including cooking, medication management, communication, conflict resolution, and community engagement.
Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams and healthcare partners to implement and support resident care plans and wellness goals.
Foster a safe, respectful, and inclusive environment through positive role modeling, supportive communication, and community-building activities.
Assist with meal planning, food preparation, and maintaining food and wellness supplies in alignment with nutritional and program standards.
Support community development initiatives by organizing activities, encouraging resident participation, and building positive relationships with community stakeholders.
Maintain accurate communication, documentation, and administrative processes while ensuring compliance with organizational, health, and safety standards.

Candidates must hold a diploma or degree in Human Services or a related field and possess at least 3 years of direct service experience. Essential certifications include First Aid, CPR, Suicide Intervention, and a valid Class 5 Driver's License.
