Job Description

This role (Behaviour Consultant) is assessed as a Roamer position requiring a few days in the office (3 days per week) unless business demands require. Job Summary: The Behaviour Consultant will support service development and delivery in the School Support Program (SSP). The Behaviour Consultant may also support Foundational Family Services and groups services for individuals with developmental disabilities, and/or a diagnosis of Autism.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Psychology or Applied Behaviour Analysis (ABA).
• Board Certified Behaviour Analyst (BCBA) and/or Registered Behaviour Analyst (Ontario) registration preferred.
• Minimum three years’ experience in the field of Applied Behaviour Analysis and Autism Spectrum Disorder.
• Experience with school based transitions will be considered a strong asset.
• Experience with development and delivery of groups, consultation-based services, and caregiver education will be considered a strong asset.
• Strong interpersonal skills, excellent communication skills, good problem-solving skills, and the ability to work within a multi-disciplinary team environment.
• Travel is required for this position; the successful candidate must have a valid Ontario driver’s license, access to a reliable vehicle and be willing to obtain automobile insurance which includes driving for business purposes with a minimum liability of one million dollars.
