You will work as key members of our Village and neighbourhood multidisciplinary teams to understand residents’ individual needs, and advocate for residents to actively participate in decisions about their care.</p> <p>The Horticulture Therapist at Schlegel Villages foster exemplary relationships with residents, their families and the Village team to deliver holistic care that focusses on flexible living and quality of life.</p> <p><span>Our Horticultural Therapist will plan gardening-based activities, either on a per-session basis or incorporated into a larger curriculum. Providing hands on experiences for our residents including, but not limited to planting seeds and caring for plants both indoors and outside. </span></p> <p>In combination with the Recreation Team, the Horticulture Therapist can support our residents to learn, grow, find life purpose and meaning.
