What you bring to the role: Registration with College of Medical Radiation and Imaging Technologists of Ontario (CMRITO) Registration with the American Registration of Diagnostic Medical Sonography (RDCS) designation Member of CARDUP Current BCLS Minimum of 1 year full-time Hospital experience in all aspects of adult echocardiography, experience with Paediatrics is an asset Experience with Contrast Echo, TEE and Stress Echo is preferred Demonstrated excellent patient care skills Excellent interpersonal and communication skills and the ability to work effectively with minimal supervision and as part of a team Ability to teach and evaluate students in their clinical placement Demonstrated good attendance and performance records with the ability to maintain these same standards Demonstrates a commitment to a healthy and safe workplace for self and others (staff, patients, families, etc.) by taking all reasonable precautions and working in compliance with hospital related policies, health and safety legislation and best practices and completing relevant mandatory education as required Work Schedule: The successful candidate must be available to cover days, evenings, and nights on a casual basis with flexibility to work additional shifts as needed, including weekday, weekends and holidays.
