The Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) provides compassionate, patient-centered care within their scope of practice. The successful applicant should have certification as a Licensed Practical Nurse in the Yukon Territory through Consumer and Corporate Affairs and current C.P.R. Certification with a minimum of 6 (six) months acute care nursing experience related to assigned department/unit. A Diploma in Practical Nursing from a Canadian Post-Secondary Institute and continuing education in specialty areas (example: Pediatric, Mental Health, Wound Care, Palliative Care In‑services) and Meditech Expanse experience would be considered assets for this position.
