Position Summary

Interior Health is seeking an experienced and dynamic Registered Nurse to join our GI Endoscopy team at the Kelowna General Hospital in Kelowna, BC.   • Practices in a variety of clinical settings and is responsible for the assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation of client care
  • Works in collaboration with the interdisciplinary team
  • Ensures the delivery of client–centered care by assisting individual clients and their families respond to changing health care needs
  • Demonstrates a specialized body of knowledge and bases practice on nursing science and related content from other sciences and humanities This is a Relief Full-time opportunity until April 17, 2028, or return of the incumbent. Qualfications Graduation from an approved School of Nursing with current practicing registration with the British Columbia College of Nurses and Midwives (BCCNM) Advanced preparation in the clinical specialty of GI Endoscopy as demonstrated by completion of a recognized post-basic education in gastroenterology/GI endoscopy nursing, or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.

Requirements

Graduation from an approved School of Nursing. Current practicing registration with the British Columbia College of Nurses and Midwives (BCCNM). Advanced preparation in the clinical specialty of GI Endoscopy demonstrated by completion of recognized post-basic education in gastroenterology/GI endoscopy nursing, or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience
