Carecor is seeking dedicated and compassionate Community Personal Support Workers to join our community care team. In this role, you will travel to clients’ homes to provide high‑quality personal care and support that empowers individuals to live safely and independently in their own environment.
As a PSW with Carecor, you will assist clients with daily living activities including bathing, grooming, dressing, mobility, toileting, and medication reminders. You will also provide light housekeeping, meal preparation, companionship, and emotional support. This position is ideal for Personal Support Worker who is confident working independently, adaptable to varied client needs, and committed to delivering dignified, person‑centered care.
You will follow individualized care plans, maintain accurate documentation, and communicate key observations to supervisors or care coordinators. Successful candidates will be seeing clients in person in the rural area of Dundas, Glengarry, North or South Stormont and surrounding areas.
Standard working hours are Days (6am – 2pm) and Evenings (2pm -10pm). Employees need to be available to work every other weekend (2 weekends a month).

Key Responsibilities
Provide personal care service according to directions on the established care plan or assignment sheet, and ensure that, on an ongoing basis, the emotional, spiritual, physical comfort and safety of clients are met to the greatest possible extent
Provide personal care that is within the provincial scope of practice for a Personal Support Worker; duties may include skin care, hair care, mouth care, bathing, bowel and bladder care, positioning and movement, exercise, basic wound care, feeding including special diets, and assistance with oxygen administration and medication reminder.
Perform specialized, client specific procedures for which recognized training and current competence can be demonstrated.
Observe and document client conditions according to company standards, report unusual events or changes in the client’s condition to the immediate Supervisor or to the Office
Understands and implements infection prevention practices
Participate in ongoing internal and/or external continuing education activities.
Adhere to Bayshore Policies and Procedures.
Participate in quality activities and continuous improvement initiatives in keeping with the company's Quality Management System.
Participates in proactive Health & Safety activities while performing all duties and is responsible to notify immediate Supervisor of any Health & Safety risks or concerns.
Maintains confidentiality of client and corporate information and discusses same only with appropriate Bayshore personnel.
Complete other tasks as requested.
Please note that based on recent government mandates and directives, healthcare workers are now required to provide proof of full COVID-19 Vaccination. If successful, new hires will be required to provide proof of vaccination prior to their start date.
Candidates must hold a PSW or HSW certificate, or be a nursing student, with clinical experience within the past year. Required certifications include Basic Life Support (BLS), N95 Mask Fit, a negative TB test, and a Vulnerable Sector Police Check.
