Market context

LPN roles in Alberta remain competitive

In Alberta, nursing employers commonly look for licensed practical nurses who can work in senior or long-term care settings, and experience in gerontology or rehabilitation can strengthen an application. These roles are competitive because current LPN registration, CPR, First Aid, and a Vulnerable Sector Check are often required, while relocation support, health benefits, paid time off, training, and education may be offered. Before applying, confirm your credentials are current and note that the requirements and benefits here are AI-summarized from the original job description, which can save research time.
