The Medical Withdrawal Service (MWS) is currently seeking a part-time, temporary (until December 4, 2026) Program Assistant. MWS is an inpatient unit that provides care to clients with severe and complex substance use disorders, underlying mental health problems, and physical illnesses. Clients are mostly voluntary and come to the unit to work on their recovery goals in a safe, controlled, collaborative setting. Reporting to the Manager, you will contribute to the organization and safe and optimal function of the unit under the direction of the clinical staff, and promote maintenance of the therapeutic milieu as a member of the interprofessional team.
