TELUS Health Workplace Support Program offers the industry's earliest intervention into employee mental health and addictions issues that require a solution beyond short-term EAP support or as part of a disability case management treatment plan.

The programs provide professional assessment and counselling to support an individual's return to healthy productivity.

These clinical interventions address issues requiring longer-term, more specialized or more intensive levels of care in order to prevent or manage workplace performance problems, absence and disability.

Summary

  • Reporting to the WSP team manager, you will be providing in-person and remote counselling services for TELUS Health Workplace Support Programs (WSP). Also, you will be providing mental health and substance use assessments, treatment recommendations and intervention. What You Bring ● Master’s Degree in Counselling or Social Work. ● Minimum of 5 years post-graduate clinical experience; ● Registration with Professional College or Association (BCACC, CCC or BCCSW) ● Strongly developed substance use, trauma, mental health assessment and diagnostic skills; ● Ability to adapt to clinical supervision; ● Ability to assess all types of psycho-social disorders and develop treatment plans; ● Ability to use or have knowledge of clinical assessment tools; ● Able to write clinical reports in a clear and concise manner; ● Experience and expertise with mandated clients; ● Basic knowledge of BC community resources and case management skills; ● Competency with computer skills, MS office ● Strongly developed documentation and reporting skills; ● Excellent time management skills; ● Ability to work in person / remotely and also collaborate in a team environment ● Past experience or familiarity with substance use assessments is a strong asset

Requirements

Requires a Master's Degree in Counselling or Social Work and at least 5 years of post-graduate clinical experience. Must be registered with a professional college such as BCACC, CCC, or BCCSW.
