Job Description

Provides intensive case management to individuals with chronic and persistent mental illness. These services are provided within an individual and/or group context.

Human Resources Exemption: No

Education Bachelor Degree or Diploma in Nursing or Psychiatric Nursing Bachelor of Psychiatric Nursing (BPN) Licenses Valid Class 5 driver's license Other Education and Training Psychiatric Nursing diploma is acceptable Nursing diploma is acceptable Bachelor of Nursing is acceptable Competencies Interpersonal skills Computer skills Knowledge and Abilities Knowledge of community resources including treatment programs & support agencies Knowledge in principles/programs/practices in community mental health nursing Knowledge of factors affecting high-risk populations and their family dynamics Ability to work independently and as a member of a multi-disciplinary team Demonstrated cultural sensitivity and openness to working w/ diverse populations Other Information Registered/eligible with the College of Registered Nurses of Saskatchewan (CRNS) May be eligible for Recruitment and/or Retention Incentives For more information on the town of La Ronge please visit https://www.laronge.ca/ Registered/eligible with College of Registered Psychiatric Nurses of SK - CRPNS La Ronge is located approximately 241 km north of Prince Albert Provincial posting open to SUN members – SUN/SAHO CBA Articles 27.02 and 27.05
