Job Description

  • Under the direction of the Manager of Nursing, the RN will be responsible for the assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation of patient care in the intensive care unit. Human Resources Exemption: No Education
  • Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BScN) Other Education and Training
  • Critical Care Nursing certificate (CCN)
  • Basic Life Support Certificate (BLS)
  • Nursing diploma is acceptable Other Information
  • Registered/eligible with the College of Registered Nurses of Saskatchewan (CRNS)
  • Unqualified candidates must be willing to take the Critical Care Nursing (CCN) training in a specified time.

Requirements

Candidates must hold a Bachelor of Science in Nursing or a nursing diploma and be registered with the College of Registered Nurses of Saskatchewan. Certification in Critical Care Nursing (CCN) and Basic Life Support (BLS) is required or must be obtained within a specified timeframe.
