  • Principales responsabilités: Démontre une connaissance générale des soins infirmiers, des principes, des standards et des techniques en salle d’opération; Procure les soins péri-opératoires aux patients qui doivent subir une chirurgie en minimisant les risques associés aux chirurgies; Planifie et participe aux soins des patients en tant qu’infirmière en service externe, en service interne ou d’infirmière chef d’équipe et assure des soins sécuritaires et de qualité; Démontre des connaissances des principes médicaux et chirurgicaux ainsi que des techniques d’asepsie, lorsqu’elle agit à titre d’infirmière en service externe, d’infirmière en service interne ou d’infirmière chef d’équipe; Applique les principes des techniques d’asepsie lors de la manipulation des instruments chirurgicaux, de l’équipement stérile et du matériel stérile; S’assure que la salle d’opération est prête à recevoir le patient; S’assure que toutes les normes préopératoires sont respectées pour chaque patient. Assure la sécurité et le confort du client lors de son transport et à l’accueil en salle d’opération; Contribue à l’induction paisible et sécuritaire de chaque patient; S’assure que des soins compétents et attentifs sont prodigués à chaque client pendant la phase opératoire; S’assure que toutes les normes de soins postopératoires sont respectées pour chaque patient. Identifie les problèmes de soins infirmiers et aide à les solutionner; Assure que tous les soins périopératoires soient notés sur le plan de soins du patient et répondent aux besoins chirurgicaux de chaque patient.

Salary Range

$29.58 - $47.43 Job Summary: We have incumbent nursing positions (2) for full-time replacement available in the operating room, with a daytime schedule from Monday to Friday. Key Responsibilities: Demonstrates general knowledge of nursing care, including principles, standards, and techniques in the operating room; Provides perioperative care to patients undergoing surgery, minimizing associated risks; Plans and participates in patient care as a circulating nurse, scrub nurse, or charge nurse, ensuring safe and high-quality care; Demonstrates knowledge of medical and surgical principles as well as aseptic techniques when acting in the role of circulating nurse, scrub nurse, or charge nurse; Applies aseptic technique principles when handling surgical instruments, sterile equipment, and supplies; Ensures the operating room is ready to receive the patient; Ensures all preoperative standards are met for each patient; Ensures patient safety and comfort during transport and upon arrival in the operating room; Contributes to a calm and safe induction for each patient; Ensures competent and attentive care is provided to each patient during the intraoperative phase; Ensures all postoperative care standards are met for each patient; Identifies nursing care issues and assists in resolving them; Ensures all perioperative care is documented in the patient’s care plan and meets each patient’s surgical needs.
