Market context
In Ontario, Personal Support Worker and Developmental Service Worker roles are typically in steady demand because employers need staff who can support daily living, mobility, and developmental disability care across residential and community settings. These roles are competitive when candidates bring a PSW or DSW credential, First Aid/CPR, shift flexibility, and hands-on experience with lifting and mobility support.
