About the role

Provide client-centred psychiatric and general nursing care for older individuals with mental health and addiction issues. Collaborate with an inter-professional team to develop, implement, and evaluate interdisciplinary care plans while maintaining CNO standards.

You will provide client-centred psychiatric and general nursing care and ensure the security, the safety and the CNO standards of nursing practice are maintained. As a casual Registered Practical Nurse, you will collaborate with the primary nurse to perform assessments, develop, implement and evaluate the interdisciplinary plan of client care for clients with mental health and addiction issues.

Requirements

Must be registered with the College of Nurses of Ontario, hold a current B.C.L.S. (CPR) certification, and have medication administration certification. Experience in psychiatric nursing and working with diverse populations is highly preferred.
