Job Summary Provide clinical support to patients under the direction of licensed healthcare professionals.
Deliver paramedical services, assist with procedures, and contribute to patient care and safety.
Number of Positions 1 Main Duties Assist healthcare professionals with patient assessments, basic treatments, and therapeutic procedures.
Monitor and record vital signs, symptoms, and patient responses to interventions.
Prepare and maintain medical equipment, supplies, and treatment areas according to protocols.
Collect and process clinical specimens and perform routine point-of-care testing as authorized.
Provide emergency care support, including basic life support and stabilization measures.
Document patient care activities accurately and communicate changes in condition to the care team.
Diploma, certificate, or training in a paramedical, medical technician, or related program. Current CPR and First Aid certification or equivalent training. Previous clinical experience in a healthcare or paramedical setting preferred. Ability to perform physical tasks including patient transfers, lifting, and prolonged standing. Clear criminal background check and compliance with workplace health and safety screening. Effective communication skills in English and ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.
