As a key member of our program, you will play a crucial role in all aspects of General Radiography and CT. Join Team RVH, where you will work alongside passionate health professionals and support staff, committed to delivering high-quality, patient-centered care. Medical Imaging at RVH offers an expansive range of Radiography imaging programs including General Radiography, Fluoroscopy, Computed Tomography, Breast Imaging and Interventional Radiology. As the hub of our region, we provide a high level of complex imaging across all modalities including high risk OBSP, advanced cardiac and acute stroke CT imaging, life changing embolization and thrombolysis interventional procedures, and cutting-edge treatments such as Trans arterial Radioembolization. Team members enjoy working with advanced technology and equipment and have a multitude of exciting learning and training opportunities. Qualifications

  • Graduate of a recognized, accredited Radiography education program.
  • Registered in good standing with College of Medical Radiation and Imaging Technologists of Ontario (CMRITO).

Registered in good standing with the College of Medical Radiation and Imaging Technologists of Ontario (CMRITO).

Completion of a Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) program.

Membership with Canadian Association of Medical Radiation Technologists (CAMRT) preferred.

Experience or willingness to train in CT is an asset.

Ability to provide compassionate and safe care.

Ability to perform high-quality diagnostic imaging in accordance with hospital and professional standards.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Ability to exercise independent judgement and work cooperatively as part of a team.

Ability to assess requests and prioritize to ensure excellent and prompt patient care.

Ability to adapt standard work procedures to emergency situations.

Working knowledge of Safety Code 35, RHPA and standards of practice for related field.

Ability to identify and recommend process improvement opportunities.

Recent satisfactory performance appraisal and attendance record.
