Medical Radiation Technologist (MRT) - CT

Qualifications

• Graduate of a recognized, accredited Radiography education program.
• Registered in good standing with College of Medical Radiation and Imaging Technologists of Ontario (CMRITO).
• Completion of a Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) program.
• Membership with Canadian Association of Medical Radiation Technologists (CAMRT) preferred.
• Experience or willingness to train in CT an asset. You will be a great fit for this position if you have:

• Demonstrated commitment to continued professional and personal growth and development through Continuing Education Programs and Self-Directed Learning Opportunities.
• Working knowledge of Safety Code 35, RHPA and standards of practice for related field.
• Able to identify and recommend process improvement opportunities.
• Recent satisfactory performance appraisal and attendance record.
• No recent disciplinary events.

Responsibilities

• Perform all required General Radiography and CT examinations as prescribed by physicians in accordance with relevant protocols and procedures.
• Maintain strong team environment amongst fellow Medical Radiation Technologists, nursing team, radiologists and interdisciplinary teams.
• Demonstrate clinical competency in all aspects of General Radiography, CT and minor special procedures.
• Deliver high quality, safe and compassionate patient care.
• Work with and participate in evaluation of students from affiliated education programs as needed.
