Required Critical Care Certificate.
Current Certificate of Registration from the College of Nurses of Ontario.
Current ACLS/BLS essential.
Coronary Care Level 1 or equivalent essential.
CNCC(C) preferred.
Post Graduate courses in Cardiology, Respiratory Systems and Physical Assessment essential.
Current progressive nursing experience in Adult ICU/CCU required.
Sound knowledge of nursing process and responsibilities of profession.
Membership in an associated professional interest group, current with industry trends.
Demonstrated communication, problem solving, critical thinking, and organizational skills.
Commitment to professional growth and development of self and others.
Demonstrated commitment to Continuous Quality Improvement and Customer Service.
Excellent attendance record.
Ability to adapt to a fast paced and changing environment.
