The RVT assists veterinarians with medical, surgical, and dental procedures while utilizing diagnostic equipment and monitoring patients. They are also responsible for building positive client relationships through exceptional customer service and compassionate care.
Candidates must have completed an accredited 2 or 3-year Canadian Veterinary or Animal Health Technology Diploma Program. They must be in good standing with the provincial regulatory association and have passed or be eligible to write the VTNE.
