What would my role be?

Reporting to the Clinical Manager, you will be responsible for assessment and treatment of communication and swallowing disorders of patients.

**For information purpose only, please note that the position is currently aligned with Transitional Care - EB 2BD, subject to change.

How do I qualify?

Required

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or equivalent as recognized by the College
  • Member of the College of Audiologists and Speech-Language Pathologists of Ontario
  • Fluent in French and English (Candidates who do not meet this language requirement are eligible to apply for this position and may be considered if there are no other suitable applicants who meet this requirement).

Preferred

  • Experience with assessment, interventions and treatment plans for persons with dysphagia and neurogenic communication disorder
  • Knowledge and experience with Augmentative/Alternative Communication (AAC)
  • What skills should I possess to succeed in the role?
  • Able to work independently and with members of an interdisciplinary team
