Provides professional registered nursing services for patients with complex health needs within Diagnostic Imaging (CT/MRI/Angiography). Responsibilities include administering medical treatments, coordinating patient care, and leading the healthcare team.
Requires a graduate degree from an approved Registered Nursing program and current CRNM registration. Candidates must have at least two years of recent experience in Medical, Surgical, ICU, Emergency, or OR nursing, including EKG and pressure monitoring.

Position Overview Under the general supervision of the Manager Health Services, and while demonstrating a commitment to the Mission, Values and Management Philosophy of St. Boniface Hospital, the Clinical Practice Nurse - Registered Nurse (RN) provides professional registered nursing services for patients, including those with complex and unpredictable health needs. These services include independent nursing services, administration of prescribed medical treatments, a leadership role within the health care team, and coordination of patient care and discharge. PLEASE BE ADVISED THAT THIS POSITION IS COMPRISED OF DIAGNOSTIC IMAGING CT/MRI/Angiography. NURSES WILL BE EXPECTED TO WORK IN ALL GEOGRAPHIC AREAS.

Day shifts are between the hours of 0700 and 1845 - Evening shifts are between the hours of 1415 and 2345 - There are also standby on call shifts on this unit. Experience Two (2) years recent Medical and/or Surgical and/or ICU and/or Emergency and/or Operating Room nursing experience required. Minimum two (2) years recent nursing experience with EKG and pressure monitoring required. Nurses currently working on the unit will be deemed qualified.
Education (Degree/Diploma/Certificate) Graduate of an approved Registered Nursing education program required.
