Requires 3-5 years of senior administrative experience and completion of Grade 12 supplemented by a business course. Must possess a valid Class 5 driver's license and proficiency in Microsoft Office suite.

The Administrative Assistant is directly accountable to the Director(s) of Pre and Postoperative Surgery and Director of Operative Care - Urban and provides administrative support in a one-on-one working relationship. This position supports, and contributes to, processes and practices to ensure the efficient operation of the portfolio(s), through accurate, timely and efficient execution of administrative support functions. The incumbent works closely, in a collaborative and cooperative manner, with all members of the administrative team to assist in accomplishing the Saskatchewan Health Authority's objectives. The incumbent co-ordinates workflow with other administration support staff and, in their absence, may provide support services as requested.
