The Occupational Therapist performs clinical assessments, individual treatments, and group facilitation for clients with various mental health conditions. They collaborate with a multi-disciplinary team to support functional independence and facilitate return-to-work planning.
A Master's degree in Occupational Therapy and active registration with the New Brunswick Association of Occupational Therapists are required. Candidates must have at least two years of experience supporting clients with mental health conditions.
Community Advocacy Participate in mental health promotion activities and contribute to establishing and maintaining mental health and addictions community resources. Other responsibilities related to the role and scope of work may be assigned. WHAT YOU BRING
Technical Competences Proficiency in the Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Teams is required. Proficiency with Electronic Medical Records (EMR) systems is also required.
