Candidates must be graduates of a CSRT-accredited Respiratory Therapy program and be registered or eligible with the SCRT. Required certifications include BCLS and a valid Class 5 driver's license, with one year of related experience preferred.

Under the direction of the Primary Health Care Manager, the Respiratory Therapist is responsible for general and specialized respiratory care in the assigned areas, as well as assisting with special projects and maintaining respiratory therapy equipment. The incumbent will promote the delivery of patient centred care through the application of professional standards. The position will have specific responsibilities related to patient needs and clinical knowledge.
