Bayshore Medical Personnel is seeking a Perioperative Registered Nurse to provide service to our client in Ottawa, ON (Montfort Hospital).
Perioperative Registered Nurse (Periop RN) is responsible for the nursing activities associated with the needs of the surgical patient throughout the perioperative experience which encompasses the pre-operative, intra-operative and post-operative phases. The Periop RNs function either as a scrub nurse or a circulating nurse.
Successful candidates will possess a minimum of 2 full-time years of peri-operative clinical experience, in the last 4 years with experience in clinical duties; performing scrub and circulating roles within general Orthopedic, Ear/Nose/ Throat (ENT), and/or Plastic surgical specialties.
Candidates must have a Bachelor's degree in Nursing, a valid RN license, and a Perioperative Nursing Certification. A minimum of two years of clinical experience in orthopedic, ENT, or plastic surgery is required.
