Job Description

Performs a variety of specialized diagnostic technical procedures utilizing radiation equipment for the diagnosis and tracking of disease and pathology. Speciality disciplines are: ♦ Mammography ♦ Angiography (IR) ♦ Computerized Tomography (CT)

Experience Twenty-four (24) months previous experience as a Medical Radiation Technologist Education Medical Radiologic Technology Advanced diploma Licenses Canadian Association of Medical Radiation Technologists College of Medical Radiation and Imaging Professionals of Saskatchewan Other Education and Training Angiography training/certificate, as required CAMRT CT courses 1 and 2 are required Mammography training/certificate, as required Computerized Tomography training/certificate, as required Competencies Basic - Computer skills Interpersonal skills Communication skills Knowledge and Abilities Ability to work independently Other Information Valid driver's license, where required May be eligible for Recruitment and/or Retention Incentives If no qualified applicants unqualified applicants may be considered Registered with Canadian Association of Medical Radiation Technologists Certified by Canadian Association of Medical Radiation Technologists Registered with College of Medical Radiation & Imaging Professionals of SK Official Description at: //www.working-for-health.ca/supportjobevaluation No guaranteed hours. Must be available a minimum of twenty-four (24) hours per 3 week period. Must be available all shifts, short shifts, short notice calls, stats and holidays, where applicable.
