Existing Compensation: $19.00 to $38.00 per hour, depending on skills and experience Jackson Creek Animal Hospital is welcoming a Veterinary Technician (or RVT) to join our team of skilled veterinary professionals. Ability to problem-solve or the ability to ask clarifying questions to help you find solutions. Exceptional interpersonal skills in working with your colleagues and pet parents. The primary role of the RVT is to provide quality patient care by assisting the Veterinarian and staff of the clinic/hospital. Have completed a Veterinary Technician or Animal Health Technician program. New graduates with knowledge of physical examinations, patient assessment, catheter placement, anesthesia monitoring, radiology, venipuncture, and pharmacy - welcome to apply! We love growing new graduates! Surgical preparation, assisting, and patient recovery. Ability to keep detailed and accurate patient records. Compassionate care for our hospitalized patients and their pet parents Ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously. Working under the supervision of the Veterinarian for medical decisions Responsible for ensuring patients and their families are provided with optimum care in an efficient manner. The doctor’s primary medical support person, aids Veterinarians in achieving greater efficiency by relieving them of some aspects of their technical work and administrative detail.
