Perform routine radiological procedures, including portables and unfused CT head exams. Assist radiologists and surgeons with fluoroscopy procedures in the DI department and operating room.
Requires graduation from a recognized Medical Imaging Technology school and current registration with the CAMRT. Must possess CPR training and be able to meet the physical demands of lifting and positioning patients.

The organization also delivers some province-wide health services and supports centralized administrative and business functions for Manitoba health organizations. Position Overview Under the general direction of the Medical Director, Radiology and/or Diagnostic Imaging Manager, the incumbent is responsible for: Perform routine Radiological procedures including portables. Assist radiologist with fluoroscopy procedures, (upper and lower gastrointestinal and urinary exams, tube management, etc.). Assist physicians and surgeons using fluoroscopy in the OR. (Retrogrades, line placements, orthopedic exams, etc.) Assist physicians and surgeons using fluoroscopy in the DI department (facets, hysterosalpingograms, hip injections, etc.). Perform unfused CT head exams. Experience Previous related experience preferred. Familiarity with PACS and RIS preferred.
Education (Degree/Diploma/Certificate) Graduation from a recognized school of Medical Imaging Technology. On-going participation in relevant courses, seminars, etc., required.
Certification/Licensure/Registration Currently registered with the Canadian Association of Medical Radiation Technologists (C.A.M.R.T.). Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) training requirements for this position shall be in accordance with the Employer policy.
